Tranh Vo passed away on April 6, 2017 at 4:17 am, at the Abraham House with her family and friends by her side.

Xuan Tranh Thi Vo was born on January 4, 1975 in Viet Nam, Ben Tre Province. She is survived by her Father, Vo Van Nhut Quang and her stepmother, Ha Thi Thuyen, of Utica, NY. She will be sadly missed by her two sisters and two brothers, Vo Thi Xuan Trang of Vietnam and Vo Ha Quyen of Utica, NY, Vo Van Nhut Thinh of Vietnam, and Vo Van Nhut Vinh, of Mesa, AZ. She was predeceased by her beloved mother, Nguyen Thi Xuan Hoang of Vietnam.

Tranh enjoyed working as a Nail Technician at Luxury Nail in Herkimer, NY. She is beloved by her co-workers and friends. Tranh had such an outgoing personality and she made many great friendships whereever she went. During her free time, she enjoyed going to the Buddhist Temple and volunteering her time helping out the Vietnamese community in any way she could. Tranh always had a positive outlook in life and determination during her difficult times.

For the past two years, Tranh bravely fought her terminal illness. Her strong will and spirit inspired everyone she had met. Tranh always had a big smile on her face even during her battle with Cancer. She will be deeply missed by all of her friends and family!

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Abraham's House or Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc.

Relatives and friends may visit and pay their respects on Sunday, 10 to 11 a.m. at The Matt Funeral Home, 700 Rutger Street, corner of Mohawk Street, Utica. Procession will begin at 11 a.m. from the Matt Funeral Home to the Chenango Valley Crematory.
