Stanley John Wolanski, 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 5, 2017.

Stanley was born in Frankfort to the late John and Sophie Wolanski. He graduated from Frankfort H.S. and attended MVTI. He later enlisted in the U.S.A.F.; served from 1961-1965; and was honorably discharged. Stanley worked at GE, ICL, Raytheon, and retired from the U.S. Post Office in Dallas, TX. He returned to Frankfort and most recently resided at the Presbyterian Home in New Hartford.

He is survived by his daughter, Sonja Allen, of Suwanee, GA; son, Michael (Jacqueline) Wolanski, of Hoschton, GA; grandchildren, Nicholas and Ryan Allen; two sisters, Stephanie Kelly (Dan Ferdula) and Martha (Frank) Organisciak; one brother, Edward (Brenda) Wolanski; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and special friend, Angela DeBella.

The funeral with military honors will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/ Blessed Sacrament Parish. Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park. Per Stanley's wishes there will be no calling hours.

Arrangements are with the Matt Funeral Home.

The family would like to thank the Presbyterian Home (Cedar Wing) and St. Elizabeth Medical Center (Special Care Unit) for their care, kindness and support.

We are very sorry to hear of Stan's passing. I have fond memories of "The Dutch Hill" guys going snowmobiling many, many years ago. Again, Lilo & I and our girls send our condolences. Henry & Lilo Sharo

Very sad to hear of Stans passing,,He was my manager and friend at Cogar and ICL..Always a smile a good friend and manager.. Rest In Peace Stan.. Phyllis
