Mrs. Marian Rehm, 95, of Frankfort, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019, in St. Lukes Hospital, after a long illness.

Marian was born in Little Falls, NY, on July 7, 1923, a daughter of the late Augustus and Bessie Mae (Hunt) Lawler. At one time, Marian was married to James Lesniak. He passed away in 1969. On September 12, 1970, she married William Bill Rehm; and the couple had been devoted to each other through 49 years of marriage.

Marian worked at several jobs many years ago, including Mele Manufacturing, until becoming a full time homemaker and devoting herself to her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Bill; children, Howard (Kathy) Dennison; Carol Riesel, David Slotnick, Stephen Lesniak, and Marlyn Mykel; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren; a brother, James Lawler; sisters, Bessie Lawler and Lillian Lawler; and several nieces and nephews.

Marian was predeceased by a daughter, Margrett; son, Billy; two grandsons; and five brothers.

Her celebration of life will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at The Matt Funeral Home. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at The Matt Funeral Home, 700 Rutger St., corner of Mohawk St., Utica.

Great grandma 👵 was a sweet lady , never had anything bad to say anobout anyone , always enjoyed her phone calls even when she had a hard time with her hearing aids and always had to adjust 😊 I haven’t seen her in quite sometime but I made my efforts to still call when I had time 😩❤️ I wish my 3 daughters would have meet you though 😩. I will miss u in this life great grandma but it’s not. Goodbye I’ll hopefully see you on the other side ❤️❤️❤️ I
