Mrs. Lillian M. (Padla) Krill, 86, passed away peacefully, with her loving daughter Laura by her side on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at the Masonic Care Community.

Lillian was born in Shelton, CT, November 13, 1932, the daughter of the late William and Lillian (Chakalinsky) Padla. She was educated in Shelton and was a graduate of Shelton High School. She was married to Demitrie M. Krill and they shared forty nine loving years of marriage living and raising their family in Shelton.

Lillian was a professional dancer from early childhood and into her early twenties. She danced throughout Southern CT, New York City and the surrounding NY area. She was a dance instructor and taught ballroom dancing for many years.

Mrs. Krill also worked as a Bank Teller at CT National Bank, later a school bus driver and for over twenty years was the high school secretary at Shelton High School.

Lilian was a loving wife and mom, who was a Girl Scout leader for several years, when her children were young. She spent many happy retired years in Brooksville, FL, where she was able to dance and swim throughout the year.

Lillian loved to cook and bake and her family will always remember her lasagna, pierogis, cheese cake and apple pie!

She is survived by her son, David Krill and his wife Elizabeth, daughter, Laura Spoto and her husband Alan, daughter, Karyann Weinstein and her husband David, and son, John Krill and his wife, Allison; also her beloved grandson Kenny Graniero.

Funeral and interment services will be held in Shelton CT and her Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Margaret Mary’s Church on Saturday at 9 am. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Riverside Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call on Friday from 5 to 8 pm at The Riverview Funeral Home in Shelton.
