Sharon Marie (Cappeli) DelDuca, 81, passed away peacefully, with the love of her family by her side and in her heart, Friday, January 30, 2026, at the MVHS Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Sharon was born in Utica, January 23, 1945, a daughter of the late Mary Specapan and Guy Cappeli. She was raised and educated locally. In 1991, Sharon was joined in marriage to Anthony “Tony” DelDuca, with whom she shared over 34 loving years of marriage.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and especially a lover of all animals. Sharon was a proud and faithful member of the ASPCA for many years. She supported any organization whose purpose was caring for animals. She will be deeply missed by her beloved German Shepherd “Kuddles” and her grandpup, “Toby”. Sharon loved to cook for her family and her meals will be missed by all.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony DelDuca Sr.; children, Jerry and Jennifer Raciti, Felicia and Michael Berenger, Michael and Kimberly DelDuca, and Jessica and Caitlyn DelDuca; grandchildren, Tod, Anthony, Lenny, Audrieanna, Jeremy, Stephanie, Alyssa, Cierra, Brady, Dante, Ava, Emorie, and Trey; and brother-in-law, Raymond Darvoe. Sharon is predeceased by her children, Michael Raciti, Noel DelDuca, Tiffany Graham, and Anthony DelDuca Jr.; and her siblings, Gifford and Peggy Loomis, and Jean Schreck-Darvoe.
There are no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Sharon’s prayer and interment service at Calvary Cemetery’s Upper Mausoleum, Thursday, February 5th, at 11 a.m., with interment to follow.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff at MVHS Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for taking such great care of Sharon during her stay.
